Trying to get another person to think, act, or live the way you think they should will never draw them close to you relationally, emotionally, spiritually. It damages relationship and the possibility for real connection.

We are called to steward our lives and let God live through us. Instead, we’re letting others see the enemy remove us from life-giving connection.

If you grew up without grace or aren’t experiencing permission to live fully alive as the person God designed you to be, don’t give up. There is hope even if it’s hard to see right now.
God has something more to reveal to you than what the voice of condemnation has done to you.
